to participate in the open call

Dear Haiku author,

Today you receive the invitation for a new international anthology project for a bibliophile edition with three-line short poems in Haiku form by Ingo Cesaro on the topic:

MEMORIES

will issue. And I think this topic is so diverse that further explanations are not necessary.

A topic that you have probably dealt with many times or take the invitation to think about and write short poems in the form of a haiku.

We are looking for three-line short poems with a total of 17 syllables and the syllable rhythm 1st line: 5 syllables, 2nd line: 7 syllables and 3rd line again 5 syllables, i.e. similarities or approximations to the traditional Japanese short poems Haiku and Senryu.

Free three lines that are not this Syllable rhythm are not taken into account. So please don't send it in either.

As before, the anthology is elaborately equipped, printed on printing paper in a Japanese block and hand-tied with a stitch binding in the scar cardboard. Appropriate for the haiku shape.

Submission conditions:  Max. 6 three lines (on one Manuscript sheet)
only by post with return postage for a letter (whoever does not adhere to these conditions should not even participate.)
The only exception: abroad!
Gladly from now until latest June 2, 2020.

The selection is carried out anonymously as before.

Release date: approx. September 2020.

I would like to point out again that neither money nor an acceptance obligation is required for the print. (Even if this is common today, as I keep hearing!)
Each author receives a bibliophile edition for their work as a fee replacement free.
The rights remain with the author.

I look forward to your submission and am looking forward to your haiku.

With kind regards,

Gisela Guelpen, Joseph-Haydn-Str. 4 D 96317 Kronach
